McDonald's started as a fast food restaurant, a bar, but they form a varied menu with sandwiches for all chicken burgers to salads than anything else. Maybe the Big Mac was the icon-based menu, but recently their recent marketing campaign for chicken sandwiches and McCafe line of coffee in the south have been successful in generating attention and new revenues. Other restaurants in foreign countries also have specials menuthe particular culture. And of course for children's Happy Meal transaction stands for favorite places for a kid in a restaurant. One would be hard to find anyone in this country (or even, in most places in the world) who are not familiar with McDonalds. If the mascot is the United States the franchise's most recognizable than the president, you know, you're in something.
