Blizzard is the greatest achievement in the history of Dairy Queen. What makes them so successful? Today, all fast-food chain is sort of generic version of Blizzard, but in 1985 this was a no. Dairy Queen was the innovator. In the city where my friends and I grew up, the activity of choice was cruising up and down to see the streets, walking around who else is bored by his wits.
